The continued generosity of individuals, organizations and companies continues to amaze us as we near the one year mark. Many have asked if there is a way to make an online donation to the Pilger RE: Celebration. We’ve setup the following site to accept donations on behalf of the Pilger Community Spirit Club Inc, an IRS 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organization eligible to receive tax-deductible charitable contributions. From everyone at Pilger, THANK YOU! http://PilgerRECelebration.eventbrite.com/

Doug Hunt and Jimmy Burgess both from Joplin, Missouri will be the keynote speakers on Saturday June 13th at 8:00pm.
Doug is the owner of Doug Hunt Consulting. Doug and his son Alex survived the historic EF-5 tornado that destroyed 1/3 of their hometown May 22, 2011, forever changing their lives. His passion for life has been enhanced because of that disaster by witnessing such human suffering first hand, seeing HOPE in a new light, and being part of the love mankind can show one another in the face of such adversity. His burning desire is to help others find their own passion by helping them define their “WHY” in life, and to always live in a deep state of gratitude no matter what happens.
Jimmy, an Iraq war veteran, was inspired to become a firefighter after the Joplin tornado. His “can do” attitude and public servant heart will be a huge inspiration to the people of Pilger during the recovery process.
